A somewhat fortuitous win but I thought we always looked the better team even if we didn't play that well. Three very well taken goals, a thunder bolt from Richard Haigh and two from Andy Ring. I personally thought his first was the better of the two, great turn and volley. His second got us out of jail, how narrow was that angle he scored from?

Let's hope we get another home draw, Harrogate Rail would be a good one to have.

At least it was more entertaing than the Dross down at Bramall Lane. Had some corperate tickets so went there instead wish I hadn't much perfer Bracken Moor. Any way its about time our luck last the full game. Got to win ugly sometimes.

A tough game but should hopefully be a good un depending on which Steelsteam turns up.

No paintballing for me that day (as the tiger pointed out on text). Paintballing wasn't invented for fat blokes who can't run as my back will testify.

Tough game for both sides, but one both will think they can win. Not made any easier with the league game at your place only a few days earlier (no doubt we'll get you in the League Cup and SS Cup at some point as well!!).

In answer to your question on NLZ about the pitch, work has been done during the close season to improve it. Certainly a lot better than last season, however, let's see how it "stands up" as the weather starts to turn for the worse, more games are played on it etc.

Ps Glad you have got the paintballing sorted
