steels 3 matlock 1

Didn't see the 1st half has my little one is not well but the second was a good performance they kept the ball well but went no where we capitalized on there mistakes and finished well from Ring and Muldoon(good on you Jack I'm eating my words tonight ) Brett lovell response at the end shows us how much it means to him and the team.

Decent performance last night. Matlock had plenty of the ball but didn't have the quality in the final third to bypass our defense. Can sympathize with them with a few of the refs decisions but it's about time we got the rub of the green with the ref for once. 3 points on Saturday to give us some breathing space to set us in store for a tough February.

Cracking result thought on balance we deserved the win, extremely pleased hannah didn't get the pentalty as its a bit of pay back for the terrible tackle on dawson at the begining of the season (which went unpunished).

In the two performances i've seen matlock in they do seem a bit of a one trick pony, take hannah out of the match and they struggle a bit.
