Guisley 3 - Steels 1

Personally i think we were very poor first half, gave the ball away far to cheaply, the midfield were really slow off the mark. The positive points are Ben Scott was a class act (as per usual) and the defence coped well. The addition of Vardy after half time showed what we miss when he isn't there. The ref was shocking the extremelly soft penalty was a joke as was Brett's yellow card.

Them's my views what are yours.

Very poor first half display and even poorer by the ref. Very soft penalty but if your going to give them then you have to be consistent all game ref!! A lot better second half fortunately and deserved the goal. An important thing I think we are lacking is a bit of spirit in the team. First half we was constantly arguing with ourselves instead of concentrating on the game. Against a better team we may have been 4 down at half time. 6 points from the next two games is what the doctor is ordering right now.

Totally agree Martin, especially with the point you raised about team spirit or should I say the total lack of it. The manager sat on his arse thoughout the entire game and gave no encouragement to the team at all. A total waste of space if you ask me, no idea and no tactics to change a game, time for a change I'm affraid, and the quicker the better.

This week marks two massive cup finals for us we need 6 points then we should be ok but i would gladly take 4 points if u offer it me at the moment
