Steels 0 Retford 2
The lads battled hard tonight on a very poor sticky pitch. The result did not reflect the game, as both sides had few chances, and only deflections made the differnce. With only 1 sub tonight it was always going to be an up hill challange. The youngsters did well espically the number 9 (sorry did n't catch the name) who ran his socks off. These were all well marshalled by brett and wardy. So all in all well done.

Totally agree with you there pal. The pitch looked like a tractor had been on it An even game really with few chances and very few mistakes. Brett was really unlucky with both own goals. the luck just seems to be evading us at the moment

Great performance from a under strenth squad and danny jones well done kid ran his socks off tonight pitty you dint get a goal has you deserve 1 from the game

Danny Jones did wel,l some potential there. Has he come through the youth teams?
