Thought the lads played really well tonight, Brandon Kane had a great game as did Callery. Who stood out for you?
Re: Steels 4 Whitby 0
I thought Rhideon was best tonight, best i've seen him play, but suprisangly brett was thre poorsest ,simon said brett was the best he played under him i' d disagree seen him play much better andgive much more conviction than he did tonight.

I thought that was one or Wardys best games for the club. He seemed much happier playing just behind Ringy which seems to suit him better. Riordan again another great performance. I'm not sure Brett has been up to pace since he had that injury. Only time will tell I suppose. Silly sendings off for Whitby though. They seemed threatening at times but we just had that killer instinct.

Funny how Brett has been at Goole for a month and he comes back and SPS keep a clean sheet. From the look at Mr Bradley's spelling and grammar maybe he had one or two more than he should have done in the bar. If i were you Id leave the desicions to the Manager.

The manager is always right,Ia'm just fan and enjoy a night out and its only an oppion. But you are right we did keep a clean sheet, but i've seen brett play better, maybe he needs a couple of games to settle in, the team has changed a bit sinceblade1 wrote:Funny how Brett has been at Goole for a month and he comes back and SPS keep a clean sheet. Attendance for this game was just 69 that is poor by any standards.

True but it was a cold mid week night the away fans had a two hour (ish) trip either way and it was an all pay game so the season ticket holders didn't really show. If it was a more important fixture then the gate would have been better.Other attendances in this comp were
113 at Lancaster vs Ashton
387 Halifax vs North Ferriby
75 Leek Town vs Curzon Ashton
82 Mickleover Sports vs Nantwich Town
88 Burscough vs Kendal Town
83 Shepshed Dynamo Retford United
538 Boston United vs Sheffield FC
Although the Halifax and Boston crowds are good they are down by well over 60% on an ordinary league attendance and added to that Boston fixture was on a saturday not midweek night game.
Re: Steels 4 Whitby 0
It was cold that night had to spend extra time in bar to keep warm (hic).
